Booking Your Portrait Is Simple
Whether it’s a cherished pet, a loved one, or a special moment you want to treasure forever, I’d be honoured to turn it into a one-of-a-kind oil painting. Here’s how we make it happen:

Step 1: Choose Your Size
Oil paint brings rich colour, depth, and detail to every piece.
Think about where your portrait will live, how much detail you’d like, and your budget. A single head-and-shoulders piece might suit a smaller size, while multiple subjects or full-body poses shine on a larger canvas.
All prices include varnishing, packaging, and tracked UK delivery. Additional charge an apply for international delivery. For special sizes or large-format pieces, just ask—I’m happy to help.
Step 2: Gather Your Photos
Great portraits start with great reference photos.
- Take them in natural daylight (no flash or harsh shadows)
- Capture clear, close-up details of the face, eyes, and colouring
- Send me a few favourites—I’ll help you choose the perfect one
If your photo was taken by someone else (including a professional), please make sure we have permission to use it.
Step 3: Book Your Place
Fill in the booking form with:
- Your chosen size
- Details about your subject (name, personality, special features)
- When you’d like it completed (especially for gifts)
My waitlist is usually about a month, so it’s worth booking early.
Step 4: Secure Your Spot
A 50% non-refundable deposit confirms your commission, with the balance due once your portrait is complete.
I accept PayPal, bank transfer, or card payments, and offer payment plans if needed.
Step 5: Watch It Come to Life
I’ll keep you updated with progress photos so you can see your portrait taking shape. If it’s a surprise gift, I’ll make sure to keep it under wraps until the big reveal.
Step 6: Delivery
When it’s ready, your portrait will be:
- Signed
- Varnished to protect it for years to come
- Carefully packaged in eco-friendly materials
- Sent tracked to your door
Most UK deliveries arrive within 5 working days.
Review
Seeing your reaction is my favourite moment. When your portrait arrives, I’d love to hear what you think—and if you’re happy to share a photo of it in its new home, it always makes my day.
